IBAADAT is a duet work by NYC based barkha patel and Toronto based Tanveer Alam. The work brings together their shared diasporic experiences as Kathak dancers, examining how they honor and adhere to their distinct lineages/training within the Kathak form while developing collaborative methodologies informed by their individual perspectives on technique and aesthetics.
